I was deeply saddened to hear of his death. He was a top-notch, cream of the crop, man. Always kind and respectful. I had the pleasure to work with him at the district attorney's office. How lucky I was to have known him. - Sincerely, Carol Meadows

I have so many great memories of growing up with Norm, I could fill the page. From kindergarten through high school we were very close friends, at times while @ Parley Colburn we would get into trouble(nothing serious) but once when we got caught riding bumpers on the back of cars on the snow packed roads, Mr. Miller called us into his office and said he was recommending that when we go to SHS we have no classes together which we never did. After Norm met Chris, we did not get together as often. I knew that Norm would do special things in his life, and he surely did. After High School Norm went on to Syracuse University and I moved to the west coast. I did keep up with the events in his life and once when Syracuse was playing Oregon, I drove there to see him. To my dismay he was not with the team as he had broken his leg the week before according to some of his teammates. The last time I saw Norn was @ our 50th High School reunion and I was fortunate to be at the same table to riminess old times, every success in his life was very predictable to me as he had that specialness, I hope he is at peace and will think about Chris and his children and will never forget him R.I.P. Norm, will see you again Gary

Thank you, all the Mordue family for the loan of Norm. As Vietnam vets Susan and I recognize his bravery and commitment. I often think back to some long and often funny meetings of the Korea-Vietnam Memorial in his chambers. As friends we had a lot of fun at gatherings and watched the kids grow up. Norm was a one-of-a-kind guy. We will miss him but the memories of him will always bring a smile to our faces.
Gary Owen, Norm!

Dear Mordue Family
My sincere condolences on your loss of an absolutely wonderful human being. Norm was my trial practice professor at SU Law and one of the best teachers I've ever encountered. I had the pleasure of arguing cases before him after he became a Supreme Court Justice. He was always prepared, fair, and kind to all those who appeared before him. Rest in Peace Judge Mordue.
