Jonna's quiet way, as I recall it now, was to say a lot with her eyes and less with her voice . For Jonna's eyes had the warmth of compassion, the smile of humor/humility, the depth of one who knows things all the way down to where they come from. The word 'behold' describes what Jonna did when she interacted with you - she beheld you just as you were - just as she was, and that is treasure to last beyond a lifetime...
The love Jonna & Gerry grew between them has sustained each of them through a gauntlet that few are able to navigate well. They did. Their children & grandchildren stand living testimony to that love. For theirs is a love that spread from within them to the soccer field, to the flower garden, and back to inner realms of richness they share & inspire in others.
May the peace that surpasses understanding, now completely Jonna's to dwell within - may that peace come to her beloved family & friends as they mourn her passing and celebrate Jonna's return whence she came... Margaret & Skip Reed
