"Nino" Age 57, passed away very unexpectedly at his home on Saturday, December 10, 2016. Nino was born in Elmira, the son of the late Anthony J., Sr., and Audrey (Berwick) Manzo. He was a 1977 graduate of Elmira Free Academy, continuing his education at SUNY Oswego where he received a Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration. Nino was retired from the Southport Correctional Facility where he was a Corrections Officer. He loved golfing and was an avid Baltimore Orioles fan. Nino is survived by his sisters, Kathleen A. (Donald) Piazza of Parker AZ, Marilyn M. (Dwight "Curly") Cary of Austin TX, Angela M. Deats of Austin TX, and Mary Jo (Frank) Cerqua of Baldwinsville NY; nieces and nephews, Dina Ward, Kristie Piazza, Josh Cary, Adam Deats, Sam Deats, David Cerqua and Daniel Cerqua; several great nieces and great nephews; aunt Phyllis E. Cady of Pine City and Esther Hetherton of Myrtle Beach SC; his very much loved feline companions, "Boo" and "Reo"; plus a very wide circle of friends. A Memorial Service will be held for Nino at a later date. Notification will be made in the newspaper and on Nino's Facebook page.
