To My Dear Brother
Hi Ricky, well our first Christmas without you and it is soo hard to get through it- all the memories about shopping, having lunch and laughing on how you would get tress that were soo big that you would have to take a rope and tie it to your wall so it wouldn't fall over! We would have so much fun! You guys would all draw names and we would talk about "who got who" and what everyone got. The memories go on and on.. just as you will be in our hearts forever..
I miss you Ricky soo much and it's not just because it's Christmas time although it's the worst time of the year to be without your loved ones but because my life seems so empty without you.
I watch for you everyday to come and say "hello" as a big "bluebird". that would be my miracle gift this year!
Give mom, dad, Connie, and LouAnn my love. "MERRY CHRISTMAS RICKY"..
I love you!
"now and always".
Your sister kathy

to Rick my Friend, who was more like my brother,Ricky it doesn't seem fair that God takes away the Good people like you, a caring and giving person, then God gave you the job of being a Dad ,and you did an excellent job. You always wanted other people to be happy I can remember when I first met you I thought to myself wow ,he's a lot like me, very down to earth "don't worry" type of guy. Then we Had the BBQ's the dinners at your house ,skat games you were "funny" Geez Bob what's he doin!" you would say LOL ! .Ricky I will miss it all, and to know we didn't even get to do things together after we Retired makes me sad, I will miss your special laugh too .the appetizers, the times on our Deck and I wish you could have came up to the lake this summer, we had a Chair just right for you ... Ricky till I see I you again up in Heaven ,I know your" flying around "using your well earned " Wings" cause you were like a Angel on Earth....Ricky Sorry you Had to go through so much suffering my Brother, Love Bro Bob

Hi Ricky,
Here I am looking at your picture and reading your obituary, missing you soo much. I am so sorry that you had to go through the sickness as you did. You had a miracle 2&1/2 years ago but God had other plans for you this time. It just seems so unreal that your gone.
You were the most lovable, sweet, kind person that I know. You raised 5 children like they were your own, always giving and sacrificing for each and everyone of them. Your grandchildren will miss their grandpa so much. You really were one of "the good guys"!
My days seems so empty now without you. I was blessed to have you for my brother for 62 years.
You had such a big heart! They say we should "give more than what we get"- well that was you!! That's how you lived..
Everyone I talk with says how sorry to hear about your passing and they remember you being such a good man, and funny.
I'm going to miss you in my life Ricky. Nothing will be the same anymore. You weren't just my brother you were my friend..
I know you are in a place were there is no more sadness, or sickness. You are that "FREEBIRD" now that you talked about. (I hoped you heard your song).
Someday I will be with you and our loved ones, but until then...
I will always hold the memories in my heart forever.. Your in GODS Hands now.. I love you Ricky...
Your sister, kathy
