Age 45, passed away unexpectedly on Saturday, March 5, 2016 at home. Beloved son and uncle, John was born in Elmira, son of John R. and Jean (Woodard) Oshetski of Erin NY. John is also survived by sister Marabeth Oshetski, with Jason Johnston, of Ridgegury Pa and her daughter Adah; brothers and sisters-in-law, Drs. James and Julie Oshetski of Freeport, ME with Andrew and Ella; Michael and Janelle Oshetski of Horsheads with John-Warren and Alexander; along with numerous aunts, uncles and cousins. John was a graduate of Horseheads High School and Alfred University. An electrical engineer, he was employed at Lockheed Martin. Family and friends are invited to a Mass of Christian Burial at 11:00 a.m. on Thursday, March 10, 2016 at St. Patrick's Church, Elmira. Burial in Canton, PA at a later date.
