Earlier message did not go through.
I was very sadden by the sudden loss of Randy. I was looking forward to seeing him and Patty at our ND class reunion next month. The presence of both Randy and Patty always brought smiles and happiness to all on such occasions. Everyone realized that they found love and marriage many years after graduation, but we recognized it was genuine. Patty and I go back a long time and my heart goes out to her. Randy was an avid golfer and a good one at that. He now is likely chuckling at the notion that the only trophy this guy ever won was for "high man" at a tournament in college! But he also was about good people skills and integrity and it is for these values that Randy will be remembered as well.
To Patty and their extended family, Mary and I send our prayers and thoughts.

I was very sad to hear of Randy's passing. I worked with Randy at Southeast Filter Co and had great respect and admiration for him. I always considered Randy a friend. He was a great teacher and motivator to me.. Randy and I stayed in touch over the years and even if we had not talked in a few months or maybe a year ,when we did talk it was as if I had just seen him yesterday. He was always great fun to be around and I will miss him.
My thoughts and prayers are with the Painton family

It is with great sadness that we learned of Randy's sudden & tragic passing. Randy was a friend and part of our Northeast Filter family. His friendship and professionalism was something we truly valued and will be sorely missed.
Our thoughts and prayers go out to his family and friends during this difficult time.

Randy was 1st Class - always & forever!
He was great to be around. He extended himself to everyone, and all were better for associating with him. He maintained his faith, loved his family. & friends, and Patti, he loved & cherished you with all his being.
And yes, his was a great classmate, 1960 of Notre Dame, Elmira, NY - he was always there when we needed him.
