Obituary of LuEsther M. Moulthrop

Age 91, passed away peacefully at home on Saturday, December 6, 2014 surrounded by her loving family. LuEsther was born May 25, 1923 in Williamsport PA, a daughter of William M. and Mary M. (Blitz) Hartsock. She was predeceased by her husband James E. Moulthrop, brother Raymond Hartsock, sisters, Ella June Goldie and Irene Harris and grandson Earl Kristen Plate. LuEsther is survived by her sons and daughters-in-law, Earl L. and Norina Plate of Elmira, Thomas A. and Deborah Plate of Nevada City CA; daughters, Mary H. Heidemann of Horseheads and Deborah A. Woodard of Elmira; step daughter Sondra Palmer of Kingston NC; brothers and sisters-in-law, Charles and Mary Lou Hartsock of Horseheads, Gordon and Wanetta Hartsock of Millport, Robert Hartsock of Auburn NY; sister Margaret Martin of Roanoke VA; "adopted" children, Linda Eastwood of Elmira, Imogene Fratt of Gold Canyon AZ and Harold Harris of Seneca Falls NY; 21 grandchildren, numerous great grandchildren, several nieces and nephews. LuEsther was a longtime member of First United Church of Christ. She enjoyed fishing, camping, traveling and going to casinos. Her most cherished time was that spent with family. Private family services will be held with Deacon George Welch.
