She was predeceased by her husband George R. Willis, daughter Elizabeth Tyler, granddaughter Amy Tyler and brother Robert F. Uhl. Mary is survived by her sister Marjorie Walton-Goostrey, Elmira; grandsons, Stephen (Melissa) Tyler and Adam Tyler; great grandson Ryan Tyler; nieces and nephews, John (Lindy) Walton, Roger (Barbara) Walton, Ann Walton with Denise Knapp, Allison (Anthony) Garza, Steven (Lisa) Uhl, Peter, Fleur and John "Pom" Marks; special friend and caregiver Holly Stickler; several great nieces and nephews. After her marriage to George they lived in Western New York for nearly 50 years before moving back to the Elmira area a few years ago. She was a longtime member of Orchard Park Country Club. In earlier years Mary and her family enjoyed spending summers at their cottage on Keuka Lake. She was an avid Buffalo Bills fan. She enjoyed bowling, golf, cars and her occasional glass of wine. Mary also enjoyed traveling, especially trips to New York City to watch Broadway shows. She liked the challenge of a good crossword puzzle and her family knew not to call when Jeopardy was on the television. Private services will be held. Mary's family would like to extend their sincere thanks to the staff at Elcor Health Services for the wonderful attention and care they provided to Mary the past two months.
