I’m so sorry for your loss. Back in 1994 my family lived next door to Tom and Linda, Bruce’s son and daughter in law. Linda and I had babies a couple of months apart and we had several play dates
with our babies ( and toddlers).
Bruce and his wife would stop by and we would sometimes converse as they were getting ready to head home. Bruce and his wife were so kind and relatable! Then many years later I ended living across the street from Bruce. He was like the Mayor of our area , you could borrow tools, ladders( my neighbor locked herself out and Bruce brought over a step ladder and my son was able to climb through the window and unlock the door so my neighbor could enter her house)
He was a kind and personable neighbor. RIP Bruce, you were a good man in this community

I was very sorry to see the obituary for Bruce. He was the finest of gentlemen and seeing him occasionally over the years (often in the post office) always brought a smile to my face. Followed by a short chat. Our words need more Bruce Haskells in it! Condolences to all.

Our deepest sympathies to the Haskell family. Mr. Haskell lived around the corner from us and every time we walked by he was either outside puttering in his garage or leaning on a rake talking to neighbors. He would always stop what he was doing to say “hi” and chat with us. He always had a friendly smile and a great sense of humor. Our walks won’t be the same without him. May his family be comforted in knowing what great joy he brought to the neighborhood. And may he rest in peace now with his lovely wife, Joan.
