Growing up with Mickey, I have known Mrs. Zelko since our Little League days! We could never get enough baseball and many days would be out in the yard just playing "ball". She would always have a smile for us when we came in along with something to eat and drink. It was always nice trying to get with Mickey's parents to say hello when I was in town. She will be missed!!

Another memory I had was our family trips to Point Peninsula. When the sun was shining, which it did quite often, I remember Aunt Janis getting her hat out and sitting under the umbrella while Uncle Ray sat in his rocking chair.

I remember when I graduated from college and my parents, Rachel and Bill, through a party for me. Well, Aunt Janis and I drank quite a bit of wine. She and I were a bit tipsy. Her cheeks were quite red. I will always remember her quiet demeanor, her kindness and smile. She will surely be missed by all.

One of my favorite memories of Aunt Janis is when a bunch of us went to Wildwood Crest for a week beach vacation (all who went…myself, my mom, Aunt Betsy, Janis & her sisters, Blanche & Marci). I was driving and we were heading into the Lehigh Valley Tunnel. Aunt Janis was up front with me and a sign came up that you needed to remove your sunglasses. She told everyone to remove their glasses. I said to her I think they only mean the driver….we laughed and laughed over that and to this day when I go through there it is a fond memory I will always cherish. I’m so glad we were able to get together this summer and catch up. RIP
