April became part of our family when Jade got to meet her 1/2 brother Jacob when she turned 16. April was a beautiful loving person and thought of Jade as her daughter and her children as Grandchildren. Eli, Wayne, and Iris will be reminded of her as they grow. April came into my life at a very weird time — in my mid 20s, when I had no idea how to function as an adult. I called her Four, and she called me Sixteen — because 4 squared is 16, and I was, admittedly, very square. During the time we were coworkers, she was always there for me, able to read my face to know if I needed to cry, to laugh, or to rage. The last time I saw her, we caught up briefly on life, and we were proud of each other for seeking and finding happiness. I’m grateful for that memory and will be forever grateful for my Four. May her memory be a blessing.

April my darling daughter I will never forget the day you were born and the doctor's raised you up I looked at every inch of your body to check for imperfections I saw on your two of your toes there was no toenails but you were still the most beautiful baby in the world and I'm not just saying that because your mind was truth all the fun that we had as we visited places like Niagara Falls Gettysburg Hershey park watching you grow into a young woman and becoming a mother of your own and giving of your heart the people that you didn't even know you were the best daughter a man could ever have and I'm sorry that we lost you in such a young age you will always be in my heart I love you and I'm going to miss you, your Dad.
