I was so saddened to read of Leone's passing. Many years were spent with the Welch's and our family, I can still taste her famous cinnamon rolls and sugar cookies. I will always remember her smile and kindness, Thinking of you all and sending hugs your way. May your years of memories help ease your present sorrow,
Every month for the last years I would call Leone. I would begin with "Good Morning Auntie" and she would answer with "Well Good Morning Hudson." we would chat about family and I always felt my mood and spirit uplifted. I shall miss those phone calls.
