So sorry for your loss , Judy. I have such fond memories of Bill and you coming to Lums and most recently seeing you again at the Arnot after all these years. He always asked about my boys when they played baseball . He was just a very sweet man. I remember when he got sick. He was determined not to let it get him down. Always ready with a conversation about anything. Especially about our time in good ole Breesport. . Praying for you and your family as you grieve.
Love, Lisa and Chris Wieland

I am sorry to hear of the passing of Bill. We have been friends since we were kids. We spent many days on the Parley Coburn playground, playing baseball, softball, and our annual Snowbowl played in front of the school. Bill was a talker and loved his college football. Rest in Peace my friend. Larry Hultz

First of all, my condolences to Judy and to Bill's kids and entire family. I knew Bill since 7th grade at Parley Coburn. Other people have mentioned his smile, and they're right--I don't think I ever saw him without a smile on his face.
We had been in touch through Messenger, and my last message must have been just before he died. I had asked him details about his disease, and he had replied with them, but I didn't know he was so close to the end. I told him many times to just reply with a word or two, or a thumbs-up, if he didn't feel like writing. The last message I got was a thumbs-up.
This comes as a shock to me right now; I just wasn't expecting it to come so suddenly. Bill was a great guy, and he will definitely be missed. Bye, Bill; love, Kath

I am so sorry to hear of the loss of Bill. I spent many days as a child at his home and he always treated us the same way he would treat his family. Sending well wishes to Geoff, Jason, and the rest of the family. RIP Bill. You will be missed.
