We miss our friend and neighbor Anne Fitzpatrick. Her career of teaching, being an active member of Elmira’s Catholic Community and volunteering made her a fount of information. We periodically needed to hear the world according to Anne. She certainly was Helen Fitzpatrick’s daughter continuing fellowship with our children and grandchildren. If our kids weren’t home we only had to look to “Henny Penny” and Anne’s where they were emptying that bowl of M&Ms. She was a dutiful scribe for the Notre Dame class of 1963 being one of the faithful still in Elmira who could give the lowdown on classmates wherever they might now be. Living alone in retirement didn’t mean being lonely for her per our trying to get a call through on that active phone line. We got to know Patty Ann and Maureen Quillinan in their service to her in later years. Peace to you Anne.
