Obituary of Mark E. Bradley

Mark Earl Bradley passed away on Wednesday, March 22, 2023. He was born in Elmira to parents Earl and Margaret. Mark attended Southside High School, then Broome County Community College. He was a manager at the People’s Place where he cultivated friendships that would last a lifetime. Later, he was a salesman with Steve Acuto, ending his career at Elm Chevy after fighting a tough battle with cancer. Mark is survived by his son, Benjamin Bradley (Leann) and grandson Jaxon in Oklahoma, daughter Emma Lyons (Kevin) in South Carolina, ex-wife turned dear friend Paula Clark (Jerry) of Elmira, brother Paul ‘Buc’ Bradley (Becky), sister Kathy Knapp (John), many nieces and nephews and other beloved family members. Mark enjoyed music and was blessed to play drums for his church (Penn Ave United Methodist) in the latter part of his life. He was happiest outside, whether he was fishing, golfing, walking a dog, or floating down the river with friends in a kayak or canoe. A Mass will be held for Mark on Sunday, July 16, 2023, 9:00 a.m., at St. Mary's Church, 224 Franklin Street, Elmira. In lieu of flowers, please make a donation to one of the following in Mark’s memory Bampa’s House, P O Box 965, Corning NY 14830, Chemung County SPCA, 2435 Route 352, Elmira NY 14903, or the American Cancer Society, P O Box 40727, Rochester NY 14610.
