Elmira - The Arc of Chemung-Schuyler - age 56.....Our sweet and loving son, brother, uncle and friend, passed away on December 15, 2022, due to complications related to Alzheimer's Disease.
Chris is survived by his mother Sharon Burpee of Hector, NY; father Michael Knapp (Donna Watts) of Elmira; brother Jeremy Knapp (Kathleen O'Connor) of Trumansburg, NY; sisters, Dana Burpee of Canandaigua, NY, Robyn Burpee of Vancouver, BC, Tina Clinton (Mark) of Highlands Ranch, CO; uncles, David and Arthur Knapp of Elmira; aunts, Stacey Knapp and Annie Gingrich of Elmira; along with his many wonderful caretakers at the Arc.
A Celebration of Chris' life is planned for the Summer of 2023.
Donations to The Arc of Chemung-Schuyler, 711 Sullivan Street, Elmira NY 14901 or Alzheimer's Association, 200 Meridian Centre Blvd., Ste 110, Rochester NY 14620, in Chris' name are welcomed.
