Elmira: Age 90, passed away on Saturday, June 4, 2022. Mary was born in Piketon OH a daughter of Timothy J. and Abigail (Donahue) Lynch, both of whom came to America from County Cork, Ireland. Mary's husband Donald J. Tigue predeceased her on August 15, 2007. She is also predeceased by her brother and sister-in-law Timothy J., Jr. and Ginny Lynch; sister and brother-in-law Ann and John Lukeman. Mary is survived by her brother and sister-in-law Tom and Peggy Lynch of Canandaigua NY; sister and brother-in-law Flossie and Jerry Holloway of Elmira; many nieces and nephews; and close childhood friend Jeannette Budd. Mary retired from Thatcher Glass Company in Elmira Heights, after many years of service. She was a long time communicant of Ss. Peter & Paul Church. . Services for Mary will be held at St. Patrick's Church, 604 Park Place, Elmira, on Thursday, June 16, 2022. There will be a short visitation from 9:45 a.m. until 10:15 a.m., followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 10:30 a.m. Interment, with committal prayers, will follow at St. Peter & Paul's Cemetery.
