Mrs Lag as I knew her was a kind and compassionate woman. who was my favorite Nursing instructor I first met her when I went for my interview as a Saint Joes student. She greeted me with a smile and Hello Susan which I never forgot, She never forgot my name and I never forgot her kindness and warmth. She touched our lives and our hearts with her smile and compassion,
I last saw her at my Nursing reunion where again I was greeted with a smile and Hello Susan, She told me she went to the reunion every year, I looked forward to seeing her again but our reunion was cancelled. She was so much more then a nursing instructor she was an angel on Earth. She has no doubt taken an express trip to Heaven, She will be missed but she has left behind so much love in the wonderful memories.
I am so sorry for your loss but how blessed we were to have had this special angel in out lives. You are in my thoughts and prayers Susan Mikolajczyk

We are saddened to hear about Maggie. I met her when she added part-time home care nurse at hospice to her long nursing career. We always loved running into her around town...at church, at Wegmans, and when Bob would “valet” her car at his part-time job. She was kind and genuine and she had a great sense of humor. We have missed seeing her since moving out of the area. Our condolences to all of her family.

To the Lagonegro family: Maggie was a bright light in a difficult world...she was forever upbeat, smiling and had a kind word. I was privileged to have seen she and her son in a restaurant a few weeks back, and she lit right up, called me by name, introduced me to her son, and wished me well....and, I will not forget the "barber shop days." My aunt and uncle, John and Mary Schmidt were among those folks, and held Bob and Maggie close to their hearts. God bless Maggie and her family. Paul Titus

Maggie was one of my nursing instructors. She was always kind and put her students at ease. I remember getting sick in class and she took me aside and got me help. She was an excellent mentor and I was blessed to know her. Prayers for her family.
