Obituary of Ann Sindone Sheehan

Age 73, passed away on April 4, 2022 at Arnot Ogden Medical Center after a terrible bout with blood cancer. She was born in Elmira, NY, daughter of the late Edward and Pauline (James) Sindone and predeceased by younger sister Angie and grandson Tyler Carey. Ann is survived by Jack, her husband of 50 plus years and their children; daughter Kim with husband Chris and children Mary Jane, Jack and Dominic; son Donald with children Dia and Johnny; daughter Karen with husband Bob and children Corrin and Grace; son Brian with wife Shannon and children Joe, Mallory and Danielle (Leah, Gabe and Luka); son Luke with wife Jenna and children Luke, Trey and Naomi; son Christopher with wife Gabriela and children Sofia, Leo, Felix and Veronica. Ann is survived by her sisters Mary and Stella, brothers Chris and John. Ann was beloved by too many family and friends to mention. She was the center of the family and was known for her famous lasagna. Ann was fun loving and a very generous person. She was a great card player and loved taking trips to the casino and bringing home all of her winnings. Some of her favorite times were spent traveling to Florida to spend time with family. Ann will be greatly missed by many. There will be no calling hours per her wishes. Family and friends are invited to attend Ann's Mass of Christian Burial at St. Patrick's Church, 604 Park Place, Elmira, on Friday, April 29, 2022 at 1:30 p.m. Committal services at Woodlawn National Cemetery will follow.
