I was lucky enough to have the opportunity to work with Paul for 10 years during my time at RVL in Thousand Oaks, California.
I was a young college grad with zero experience in the apparel/textile industry. Paul was always willing to take the time out of his day to help. Above and beyond his knowledge of textiles, Paul had an amazing understanding of what it took to just be a good person. I enjoyed our chats about sports, even though we did not cheer for the same teams. He was Philly all the way!
Paul would take his lunch like clockwork. I remember Paul eating his lunch that he had packed for the day, at his desk while reading the paper. When Paul was done with lunch he would sit back in his chair and take a 20 minute nap to recharge for the afternoon. Every once in a while you could hear him wake himself up snoring! I remember this like it was yesterday. Fond memories!
Paul was a family man through and through. I have fond memories of him telling stories and bragging about how many Phish shows his kids would attend.
I'm saddened to hear the news of Paul's passing. A genuine guy with a heart of gold. My condolences and best wishes to your extended Family. The world needs more people like Paul! R.I.P. Buddy.
