Obituary of Alan John Underkofler

Age 63, passed away peacefully at home surrounded by his loving family on Friday, January 1, 2021. Alan was born in Philadelphia PA, son of the late Alan W. and Marie (Wischum) Underkofler. He is survived by his wife Anita Pirozzolo Underkofler; children with their families, Alan (Allison) Underkofler of Leland NC with children McKenzie, Madison and AJ Underkofler … Kristi Underkofler (with Jeremy Rhodus) of Georgetown KY with children, Jase, Emily and Ashley Rhodus … Kyle (Stephanie) Underkofler of Palmetto FL; step children and their families, Eric (Jeannette) Mortimer of Chester VA with children, Madison, Emic and Trinity Mortimer … Joshua Mortimer of Hampstead NC … Kyle (Nicola) Mortimer of Elmira … Tiffany Mortimer of Horseheads with daughter Liliana Green; brother James (Barbara) Underkofler of Bartow FL; sisters, Patricia Carasick of Fort Lauderdale FL, Janet Cardonick of Philadephia PA and Lori Slodan of Washington PA; many nieces, nephews, cousins and in-laws; beloved canine companions Ebony and Chemo. Alan enjoyed many hobbies including fishing, drinking, visiting casinos, traveling, riding his ATV, and playing on his tractor. He loved listening to music on his back deck. Alan took the most pleasure in hanging out with friends and family and playing with his grandchildren. A celebration of Alan's life will take place in the summer of 2021.
