Ann M. Price
Elmira: Age 92, passed away, Saturday, April 16, 2011 at St. Joseph's Hospital SNF. Ann was a daughter of Silvio and Angela (Colavita) Macale. She was predeceased by her husband Charles Price; brothers, Anthony and James Macale; sisters, Josephine Harris and Angela McNicholas; step brothers, Joseph, John and Carmen Ramich; nephew Douglas Harris; and great nephew Douglas Harris II. Ann is survived by her daughter Mary Ann Bryant-Bruner with her husband Don of Pine City; sister-in-law Josephine Macarle of Long Island; brother-in-law James McNicholas of Scranton PA; nephew Bob Harris of Elmira; several other nephews and nieces; the very special Tufillaro-McClellan families; "adopted" daughters, Jackie, Marie, Linda and Pat. For thirty plus years Ann worked in retail in downtown Elmira and for twenty-five years she was the cook at St. Anthony's rectory. She was a lifetime communicant of St. Anthony's Church up until its closing and a current member of Blessed Sacrament Parish. Her faith in God, and family and friends were the most important things in her life. Family and friends are invited to McInerny Funeral Home, corner of W. Water and Walnut Streets, on Tuesday, April 19, 2011 from 4:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m. A prayer service will be held at the funeral home on Wednesday, April 20, 2011 at 9:15 a.m. followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at St. Patrick's Church at 10:00 a.m. Committal prayers and interment to follow at St. Peter & Paul's Cemetery. The family would like to extend a special thanks to the staff at St. Joseph's Hospital 3rd floor Skilled Nursing Unit and the Pastoral Care staff who cared for Ann as though she was their own mother.
