Obituary of Kathryn A. Fabrizio

Kathryn A. Fabrizio "Katie" Elmira: Another star was added to the sky when Katie passed away on Saturday, April 7, 2012. She was born October 28, 1974, a daughter of Anthony and Victoria (Battersby) Fabrizio. She will be forever missed by her loving family…..parents, Tony and Vicki; sisters, Megan Hill and Jennifer Stroman; nephews, Gavin, Jackson, and Gianni; niece Julia; many aunts, uncles, cousins, and friends…including her Grove Street neighborhood. Katie was a kind and gentle soul with a tender heart who loved everyone. Her nephews and niece were the light of her life. Katie's favorite place was the ocean. From the time she was very young Katie always wanted a dolphin of her own. Perhaps she admired the carefree way they lived. Everyone who knew Katie agrees she was fun to be with and was always ready for a good time. We know Katie is in a good place now with Grandma Kate, Grandpa Jack and Grandma Marg. Her family takes great comfort in knowing Katie's burdens in life are lifted and that she is finally at peace. We love you, Katie Ba-Boo. Family and friends are invited to McInerny Funeral Home, corner of W. Water and Walnut Sts., on Thursday, April 12, 2012 from 4:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. A prayer service will be held there on Friday, April 13, 2012 at 9:15 a.m., followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 10:00 a.m. at St. Casimir's Church. Private interment will take place at St. Peter & Paul's Cemetery.
