Dear family and friends of Andrea,
I am so sorry to read of your loss. The tragedy of losing someone early in life is even more painful. I hope during his time you will find strength and comfort from each other and the memories you have shared. May you also find comfort from God's word during this difficult time, where we are promised that pain and death will one day a thing of the past. One of my favorite versus is Revelation 21:4 which reads "And he will wipe out every tear from their eyes, and death will be no more, neither will mourning nor outcry nor pain be anymore. The former things have passed away."

I had the good fortune to spend some time with Andrea a few years back. She was such a force of nature, and so much fun! I always looked forward to our meetings. We would talk about how blessed she felt to have the support and unwavering love of her husband, and how proud she was of the people her children were growing into. Even on her most discouraging days, she always asked about others, genuinely concerned about her friends. She even helped me name my little girl!
Andrea, I promise to keep working to raise money to fight cancer.
Sending my warm condolences to Andrea’s family.

I'm so sorry for your loss Pete ,and the kids aunt Lee , Kelly.
Andrea was my first girl cousin after being surrounded by boys. Add to that , that she was born 2 days after my birthday made it even more special. She was " my " baby. Then as we got older I was the baby sitter , one time we watched the movie Taps , any time after that she'd ask me if Taps was on. Then I moved away and lost touch. I regret that deeply. I will always love you Mouse.

My deepest sympathy to family and friends. Although I have never met Andrea face to face, I conversed with her daily via chats. She was one of the best Verizon pilot reps we ever had. She was also willing to help me when I had rep type questions . I have been thinking of her often since she left and was very sorry to hear this. God Bless Andrea and her family and friends. I know she will always be your Guardian Angel and will be looking out for all of you. -Pat Y

Andrea and I met through our daughters playing softball but bonded as well because we were Big Flats neighbors. She was so honest and had a fun sense of humor. A funny memory was of my husband ribbing Andrea about the pronouciation/ mispronounciation of her last name. He was relentless with the needling, but she just kept tolerating it with the zinger comebacks. He must have come up with 10 ways to say Mahon but she had 10 quick-witted responses! Andrea was not afraid to tell it like it is and was open in discussing her health issues and I admired that. I hope when faced with future challenges that I can handle them as solidly as she did. She had a great eye for calling things like they were. I trusted her and will miss her. We had crazy phone calls over loose dogs that were playing/fighting (with Rocco and Izzy it was always so hard to tell), "missing" kids, mischievous sons, and requests for Hannah's catching prowess for Juliana's pitching. Andrea, I will forever regret one time we ran into each other at Miniers when you were at home recovering from chemo and you and I talked so long and dodged so many incoming shoppers that you said how I should call and come up for coffee sometime. Of course work and the day to day occurred and our coffee date never did. I'm sorry I didn't initiate reaching out and missed the chance to get to know you on a deeper level. I will miss you.

My thoughts and prayers are with Andrea’s family. We grew up in the same neighborhood and I can remember her walking down the alley to come swim in the summer. I saw her a few years ago at Friendly’s and she paid for our meal, without us knowing. What a nice thing to do! I reached out to her to say thanks and she said to do something nice for someone in return. She was a fighter and will be missed!

I feel so thankful for the friendship I made with Andrea as Hannah & my daughter Molly started Happy House together. We hit it off instantly & spent many days hanging out with the girls. We had so much in common & I definitely saw what a sweet, fun “little” friend she was.

I was blessed to work at Verizon with Andrea and to call her a friend. She honored me by having me sing at her wedding. When she was a part time Real Estate Agent she helped in the purchase of my home. I was always grateful for that. She was honest and hard working no matter what the job. She sincerely cared about her co-workers and their families. We will miss you but we will never forget you.
