Dear Ric, We are so sad to hear that Kathy has died. She was and is still a holy woman of God. She has been such a witness to everyone she ever knew of God's love in this world. She brought His love and light and hope wherever she went. She never complained and she accepted God's will and plan for her life knowing that it was the best plan. She delighted in serving others just as Jesus did. We will truly miss her but we know we will see her again when we meet in Heaven. May all the suffering she went through here on earth cause many blessings to be poured out on all of our families and friends. May she rest in the arms of the Holy Family of God.

Kathy was one of the most kind heart person I have ever met. She was a fighter when it came to her cancer. I am so sorry Ric and family for your loss. Ric, you took very good care of her right up until the end.

Ric,
I was so surprised to read of Kathy's passing! She is such a dear women, so kind and loving. She sure did love you, that's for sure! We know in faith that only her broken body has died. Her soul lives on forever as she is born into eternal life. In the timelessness of heaven, she will have but a moment and the two of you will be together again. Your relationship is not over, because she has only BEGUN to live, having been born into eternal life. Your relationship has changed for a time, yes, but even if it seems like forever, the love goes on, and she will be your greatest intercessor with Father, Son and Holy Spirit. I pray you will be at peace, and you will know that all is well with her. There are no regrets. She knows every beautiful thought and word left unsaid now, and her capacity to love you has only grown greater the closer she comes to Christ. You are loved dearly. Nothing changes that, even death.

I can't express how sad I was to learned that Kath had died. I'm so sorry for your loss, our loss. Heaven gained a saint. We are better people because we knew and loved her. The biggest tribute that I can pay to my loving wife is that in all of our 28 years together, every single thing she did came straight from her heart. All she ever wanted was to help; to make people happy. On those rare occasions, when something went wrong, she could not understand. She was so hurt because she honestly felt that she was doing something good for someone. She was just not able to understand how something that she gave from the heart, something that she pictured in her mind that was sure to make someone happy didnt turn out like she thought it would. Kathy knew only about giving, never asking for anything in return. Kath was the embodiment of light and of love.
Granted, there were those that did hurt Kathy and, never having a mean bone in her body, never knew how to stand up for herself. So for those devoid of any good she made an easy target. Though hurt so much, she would never get mad at them. She would pray for them.
Kath was so pure of heart that I was certain that she was an angel put on earth just for me. She loved me with every single bit of her precious heart as I loved her with every single bit of mine. I miss you so much, baby. I miss you so much.
