Obituary of William L. Baldwin

"Pa" Age 78, passed away peacefully at home on Thursday, February 8, 2018. Bill was born in Elmira, son of the late Richard and Ruth (Towsend) Baldwin. He was predeceased by his wife of 57 years, Priscilla Eames Baldwin on December 2, 2017. He was also predeceased by brother John Baldwin and sister Nancy Struble. Bill is survived by daughters and sons-in-law, Roxann and Joseph Werkheiser of Elmira, Roseann and Robert Gordon of Conway SC, Robin Houghton, Regina Coley and Billie Jo Baldwin, all of Elmira; son and daughter-in-law Jason and Kristie Baldwin of Elmira; brothers and sisters-in-law, Richard and Lorie Baldwin, Robert and Frances Baldwin, all of Elmira; sister Marjorie Saxer of Horseheads; several grandchildren, great grandchildren, nieces, nephews, cousins and in-laws. Bill was a U.S. Air Force veteran. He was a mason for many years with Sullivan Trail Construction in Elmira. Bill enjoyed camping with his family. He was an avid fisherman and a Buffalo Bills fan. Family and friends are invited to McInerny Funeral Home, 502 W. Water St., Elmira on Friday, February 16, 2018 from 11:00 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. A funeral service will be held at the conclusion of calling hours. Committal service and burial, with military honors, will follow at Bath National Cemetery.
