"Bud" Age 93, passed away peacefully at the Chemung County Nursing Facility on Wednesday, February 15, 2017. Bud was born in Elmira, son of Bernard F. and Mary (Grabowski) Ryll. He was predeceased by his brother and sister-in-law, William J. and Peggy (Wierda) Ryll. Bud is survived by his niece Christine M. (Earl) Sowell of Horseheads; nephew William T. Ryll of Virginia; great niece Liz (Joe) Reed with children Landon, Kailyn and Jeremiah; special friend Jenna North. Bud was a U S Army veteran serving during WW II. He had worked with his brother and sister-in-law for over 40 years, first at the Dairy Queen on Lake St. and later at Bookmarks on N. Main St. Bud was a longtime communicant of St. Patrick's Church. Family and friends are invited to a Mass of Christian Burial at St. Patrick's Church on Thursday, February 23, 2017, 9:00 a.m. Committal prayers and interment will follow at St. Peter and Paul's Cemetery.
