Obituary of Pasquale Perfetti

Pasquale Perfetti "Pat" Age 80, of Elmira, passed away Thursday, March 11, 2010 at St. Joseph's Hospital after a long battle with Parkinson's and Heart Disease. Pasquale was born September 7, 1929, the son of Angelo and Maria Morgia Perfetti. Pat was a 1947 Graduate of Southside High School. He was employed by Moore Business Forms as a machinist and Drake's Hearth and Home. In his younger years Pat was a volunteer for the American Heart Association and the Neighborhood House. He was a spirited boxer and continued his love of the sport. In addition to his parents Pat was predeceased by his son, Peter James Perfetti and sister, Yolanda Brown. He is survived by his son, Don Perfetti of Virginia; daughters, Marcia (Ron) Liddick of Harrisburg, PA; and Diane Perfetti with Pat Callahan of Elmira; four grandchildren, Clint and Kaley Liddick, Pete Perfetti Jr. and Daniel Schwessinger, brother Pete (Carol) Perfetti of Wisconsin, several nieces and nephews and special friend Joe Magno. Family and friends are invited to McInerny Funeral Home, corner of Water and Walnut Sts., on Sunday, March 13, 2010 from 3:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m. It was Pat's request that private family funeral services be held. Interment will be at St. Peter & Paul's Cemetery. Donations in Pats memory may be directed to a charity of one's choice.
