"Sherry" Age 71 passed away peacefully, after battling a long illness, at her home on Monday, August 21, 2017. Sherry was born in Elmira a daughter of the late Robert F. and Marian Howland Gordon. She was also predeceased by brothers, Michael "Mickey" Gordon and Mark Gordon, sister Carol Gilboy. Sherry is survived by her husband of 48 years Daniel J. Grafius; daughters, Tiffany Grafius Pickren and husband Stan of Horseheads with children, Joseph and Laken; Kristine Grafius Eckelberger and husband Warren of Elmira with children, Kirsten, Brandon, Jersey, Haylee and Warren; Ericka Grafius Keough and Samuel Burlew of Elmira with children, Justin, Kayla, Joshua, Cade and Tyler; Dannette Grafius Clark and husband Jason of Elmira with children, Siharra, Jason and Nathan; son Derek Grafius and wife Jamie of Stuart FL with children, Halie, Jordan, Christine and Jacob; great grandchildren, Kaliyanna, Tyreell, Jr., Tristan, Carson, Kaiden, Jayvon, Trenton and Kenliee; siblings, Janet Fagan, Robert (Rose) Gordon, Mary (Ken) Cushion, Nancy (Mark) Waggy, Diane Burchard, and Alan Scott Gordon; aunts, Barbara McInerny and Betty Holmes; sisters-in-laws, Geraldine (David) Lapp, Nancy (Dennis) Johnson; numerous nieces, nephews and cousins. Sherry loved to work in her garden and do crafts. Family time was the best time for her with all her children, grandchildren and great-grandchildren. Private family services will be held.
