Obituary of Robert M. Chimileski
Age 68, passed away unexpectedly on Monday, June 1, 2015 at home. Bob was born in Elmira on November 20, 1946 a son of the late Joseph J. and Mary Ann (Kowalczyk) Chimileski. He is also predeceased by his sister Anne K. Wahl. Bob is survived by his loving wife of 47 years, Kathleen Collins Chimileski; children, Robert W. Chimileski of Syracuse, Dr. Kristen M. Roessler of Durango CO and Michael J. Chimileski of New York City; grandsons, Aidan, Riley and Miles Roessler; brothers, Joseph Chimileski of The Villages FL and David Chimileski of Elmira; sister-in-law of Patricia Stump Elmira; brother-in-law Daniel Collins of Milwaukee WI; numerous nieces, nephews and cousins. Bob was a graduate of Southside High School and earned his Bachelor's Degree from Utica College of Syracuse. He worked at Thatcher Glass for several years and later at NYSE&G in Ithaca as a systems analyst from where he retired. Family and friends are invited to call at McInerny Funeral Home, 502 W. Water Street, Elmira, on Friday, June 5, 2015 from 4:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. A prayer service will be held there on Saturday, June 6, 2015 at 9:15 a.m. followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 10:00 a.m. in Ss. Peter and Paul Church. Committal prayers and interment will follow at St. Peter and Paul's Cemetery.
