Moylan, James J. "Barney" Age 66, passed away at the Arnot Ogden Medical Center on Monday, February 16, 2015. Barney was born in Elmira NY on August 17, 1948 the son of Jane C. Rhoades and the late James F. Moylan. Barney is survived by his wife of 47 years Barbara Moylan; daughter, Cary and Michael McLaughlin of Pine City with daughter Courtney, and son Christopher and Shannon Moylan of Elmira with children Jenna, Molly and Collin; sister, JoAnn and Donald Wilber of Elmira; sisters-in-laws, Joanne and Peter Cambio, Betty J. and Joseph Bednarek; nieces, nephews, cousins and many friends especially Cal and Toni West. Barney was a 1966 graduate of Elmira Free Academy. Retired from IBEW Local 139 after 37 years of proud service to his brotherhood. He was a devoted husband, father and Pa Pa. He especially enjoyed his 11 o'clock skins game at the Mark Twain Golf Course. Barney loved his many trips to Myrtle Beach and spending time on Keuka Lake with is family and friends. Family and friends are invited to call at the McInerny Funeral Home, 502 W. Water Street, Elmira on Thursday, February 19, 2015 from 4:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. A Mass of Christian Burial on Friday, February 20, 2015 at 10:00 a.m. at St. Patrick's Church. In lieu of flowers donations in Barney's memory may be directed to the National Parkinson Foundation PO Box 5018 Hagerstown, MD 21741-5018.
