Obituary of Hannah Lynn Burt

Elmira: Age 4, became one of God's angels on Sunday, December 21, 2014. Hannah was born August 1, 2010 the daughter of Tina Lynn Cassada and Michael W. Burt. In addition to her parents she is survived by her sisters, Aleah and Kylie; maternal grandmother Patricia "Mimi" Cassada of Alpine NY; paternal grandparents, Jeanette "Grammy" and John "Pa" Pallone of Lowman and Ron and Brenda Burt of North Carolina; great-grandmother Dorothy "Memaw" Park of Horseheads; uncles and aunts, Marc and Valarie Cassada, Kevin and Meganne Cunningham, Mark and Kim Cunningham; along with several cousins, great aunts and great uncles. Hannah was predeceased by her grandfather David Cassada. Hannah was diagnosed with Metachromatic Leukodystrophy at the age of 18 months. It is a rare genetic disease that when contracted in early childhood is usually fatal by age 5.
