Obituary of Ellen T. Wozniak

Age 56, of Pultneyville NY and formerly of Elmira, passed away, surrounded by her loving family, on Saturday, October 11, 2014 in Rochester. Ellen was born in Elmira NY on February 15, 1958 a daughter of Theresa Gourley Connelly and the late Edward F. Connelly. In addition to her mother, Ellen is survived by her husband Timothy Wozniak and sons, Michael of New York and Scott of Michigan; brothers and sisters-in-law, Joseph E. and Margaret Connelly of Bellvue WA, John F. "Jack" and Marianne Connelly of Elmira, Michael T. and Barbara Connelly of Horseheads; sisters and brothers-in-law, Patty Connelly of Rochester, Mary Theresa and Dr. Timothy O'Leary of Rochester, Eileen C. and David Windsor of Edwards CO; father-in-law Gene Wozniak of Michigan; brothers-in-law and sisters-in-law, Jeff and Nicole Wozniak of Grosse Ile MI, Laura and Neil Selden of Okemos MI; along with numerous nieces and nephews. Ellen was a 1976 Graduate of Elmira Free Academy, a 1980 graduate of SUNY Oswego, and earned her MBA from RIT. She was employed as the Chief Financial Officer of Reliant Community Federal Credit Union in Sodus NY. Ellen was a board member of Life Span in Rochester and the Pultneyville Historical Society. She was also a member and secretary of the Pultneyville Yacht Club. Ellen liked to work in her garden and was an avid sailor. Along with Tim, she took great joy in their lake home. Family and friends are invited to McInerny Funeral Home, 502 W. Water Street, Elmira, on Wednesday, October 15, 2014 from 4:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Thursday, October 16, 2014 at 12:30 p.m. in Our Lady of Lourdes Church, 1100 W.
