Elmira: Age 93, passed away peacefully at home, with her family by her side, on Saturday, August 31, 2013. Virginia was born in Olean NY on June 10, 1920, daughter of Harry J. and Mary (Whitzer) Bush. She was predeceased by her husband Thomas S. Lagonegro in 1992. Virginia is survived by her daughters and son-in-law, Mary Lagonegro, Cape Coral FL, Judith and Michael Shutter, Elmira and Christine Lagonegro, Elmira; son and daughter-in-law, Thomas J. "T.J." and Janice Lagonegro, Elmira; grandchildren, Elizabeth (John) Hollenbeck, Brian (Abby) Shutter, Kyle (Domini) Lagonegro, Lisa Lagonegro (fiancé Andrew Strong), Matthew (Heather) Lagonegro; great grandchildren, Isabella, Lilly, Jacob and Lucy; brother Harry Bush, Rochester; sisters and brother-in-law, June Bush, Olean NY, Donna and James Melville, Olean, Marian Murphy, Wellsville NY and Marylou Haught, Bolivar NY; several nieces, nephews and in-laws; special caregiver Darla Cusimano. Family and friends are invited to attend a Mass of Christian Burial at St. Mary's Church, Elmira on Tuesday, September 3, 2013 at 1:00 p.m. Committal prayers and interment will follow at St. Peter & Paul's Cemetery.
