Jefferson City MO: Age 86, formerly of Elmira, passed away in Elmira at St. Joseph's Hospital on Monday, June 24, 2013. She was hospitalized during a visit to attend a family wedding in Ithaca. Kathleen was born January 11, 1927 in Taos MO the eldest daughter of Fronie (Veltrop) and Alex Lauf. She is predeceased by her husband Cyril Kuttenkuler, Tipton MO, brother Harold Lauf, Jefferson City MO, sister Joan Nacy, Jefferson City MO. Kathleen is survived by her children, Cheryl Beece, Ormond Beach FL, William Kuttenkuler, Nashville TN and Diane Kuttenkuler, Jefferson City MO; sisters, Rita May, Cuba MO, Leach Schwartz, St. Louis MO; along with eighteen nieces and nephews. Kathleen was active in Elmira politics assisting her husband "Cy" Kuttenkuler, long-time Democratic Councilman and City Chamberlain. A member of St. Casimir's Catholic Church and the White Eagle's Club, she was active with Girl Scouts and the White Eagle's youth bowling league at Rossi Lanes. Kathleen and long-time friend Fran Snyder operated K& S Company, a wallpaper installation service. Friends may call at the Millard Family Chapel, 2613 West Main Street, Jefferson City MO, on Friday July 5, 2013 from 5:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. A Funeral Mass will be held at St. Joseph's Cathedral on Saturday, July 6, 2013 at 11:00 a.m., immediately followed by a reception at the church. Interment will be at St. Andrew's Cemetery in Tipton MO.
