Obituary of Scott J. Burlew

Age 50, passed away unexpectedly at home on Tuesday, March 4, 2025.  Scott was born and raised in Elmira, a son of Steven J. and Shirley M. Burlew.  He is predeceased by his father Steven and infant brother Stanley M. Burlew.  Scott is survived by his mother Shirley; brother Sam M. Burlew with Erica Grafius; Sam’s son Tyler M. Burlew; Erica’s children, Justin, Kayla (with Eli), Joshua and Cade; great nephews, Carson, Kaiden and Kai.  Also surviving are several friends. 

Scott had worked for 20 years with the Town of Baldwin Highway Department.  He was currently working as a groundskeeper at Park Station in Erin.  Scott loved working on old John Deere tractors, Ford pickup trucks and going to farm auctions.   He also enjoyed spending time working in his sawmill.
