Rickie was cherished by all who knew her. A devoted wife to Sam for 55 years, a beloved mother, and a proud grandmother, Rickie was the center of her family. Her favorite color, yellow, beautifully reflected her warm personality and sunny disposition. Rickie’s vibrant and welcoming spirit made everyone feel at home, her generous and loving heart deeply touched all who had the pleasure of knowing her. She was especially known for hosting family and friends during the holidays and other special occasions. An avid camper, she loved fishing and spending time with her friends and family. Rickie’s creativity and humor were unmatched; she had a remarkable talent for decorating, fashion and bringing joy, laughter, beauty and meaning into any space. She enjoyed sewing, cooking, shopping, speaking her mind, and supporting her grandchildren in whatever they pursued; including cheering enthusiastically at their various sporting events. Rickie was grateful to all those who shared their joy, love and happiness with her. Rickie’s love and light will remain with us forever. As per Rickie’s request, there will be no services. A Celebration of Life will be held at a later date. Those wishing to remember Rickie are encouraged to spend time with loved ones, camping or sharing a good meal.
