Obituary of Mary D. Fredo
Elmira: Age 99, passed away at her home on November 22, 2024, surrounded by her loving family and friends, after a brief illness.
Mary was born in Arnot PA, the eldest daughter of Stanley and Kathryn (Rokoski) Drabinski. She was predeceased by her parents, husband Joseph F. Fredo, brothers, Lawrence, John, Edward, and Leonard, and sister Bernice Drabinski Skolny. Mary was loved by her five nephews, five nieces, and many grand and great grand nieces and nephews.
Mary graduated from Blossburg High School and Elmira Business Institute. She worked for, and retired from, the Social Security Administration. Having lived most of her life in Elmira, Mary and Joe also lived for a few years in Largo, Florida where they enjoyed playing year-round golf and travel. Mary was a devoted communicant of the Most Holy Name of Jesus Parish in Elmira.
Following Mary’s wishes a private family service will be held.
