Michael will be remembered for his great love of music. He maintained an extensive music library across all genres. He also had a beautiful tenor voice and sang in the St. Mary’s choir for many years. Michael was known for his dedication to the community, as evidenced by his service on the boards of several charitable organizations, including the Chemung County Historical Society and, most recently, The Arnot Health Foundation. Michael also volunteered his time, coaching and officiating for the Mark Twain Little League and Elmira Small Fry. Over the past several years, Michael developed a passion for the game of golf. He played every chance he got. He encouraged others to participate in the sport because he found it to be a great way to connect with people. Family was incredibly important to Michael.
