Obituary of Ted Black

Age 71, of Elmira, passed away peacefully at the Bath VA Medical Center on Friday, June 30, 2023.  Ted was born in Blossburg PA, son of the late Francis and Lucille Mulford Priset.  He was predeceased by his brother Thomas Priset and god-kitty Max.  Ted is survived by his “adopted family”, Angela Navaro, Kelly and Rich Cameron, and Jay Monroe.  He is also survived by many friends, and canine companion Penelope.  Ted was a proud U S Marine Corp veteran.   He enjoyed watching movies, writing, traveling and going out to eat.  He loved to eat Spam sandwiches and Reese’s Peanut Butter Cups.   Ted was a friend of Bill W. for over 20 years. 

Family and friends are invited to call at McInerny Funeral Home on Monday, July 10, 2023 from 12:30 pm to 1:30 pm.  Committal services and military honors will follow at Woodlawn National Cemetery at 2:00 pm.
