Obituary of Thomas J. Viselli

Thomas J. Viselli Elmira: Age 68, died Tuesday, November 16, 2010 at Arnot Ogden Medical Center. Tom was born February 27, 1942, a son of the late Joseph and Josephine (Bamonti) Viselli. In addition to his parents he is predeceased by his sisters and brothers-in-law, Selma and Joseph Scrimale, Teresa and Richard Smithers; and sister-in-law Nancy Viselli. Tom is survived by his brother Louis A. Viselli of Las Vegas, NV; nieces and nephews, Karen Viselli of Las Vegas, Louis (Kathleen) Viselli, Michael (Patricia) Smithers, Daniel (Renee) Smithers, Cheryl (Stephen) Janeski, David (Mary) Smithers, Stephen (fiancée Nodja Coolbaugh) Smithers, all of Elmira, Thomas (Eileen) Scrimale of Rochester, Paul (Maria) Scrimale of Horseheads; great-nieces and great-nephews, Nicholas and Caroline Viselli, James Rice, Stephen and Jason Janeski, Sarah and Jennifer Smithers; great-great-nephew and great-great-niece, Ryan and Gabrielle Janeski. Tom worked for the U.S. Postal Service, retiring with over 30 years of service. A loving brother and uncle he enjoyed the time he spent with his family. There will be no calling hours. Family and friends are invited to a Memorial Mass of Christian Burial on Friday, November 19, 2010 at 2:00 p.m. at St. Patrick's Church. Private services will be held at St. Peter & Paul's Cemetery. Those wishing may remember Tom with a donation to the Falck Cancer Center, 600 Roe Avenue, Elmira, NY 14905.
