Obituary of Rose D’Abbracci

Rose M. D'Abbracci Binghamton: Age 88, formerly of N. Main St., Elmira, died Wednesday, December 1, 2010 at Willow Point Nursing Home in Binghamton. Rose was born February 20, 1922, in Elmira, the daughter of Ignazio and Egilda (Gallo) Nisco. Rose is predeceased by her husband Patsy D'Abbracci, sisters, Mari Murdock, Mary Cecchini and Amelia Cassidy, brothers, Amadio "Butch" Nisco, Henry, Leo and Salvatorre Cicconi, and grandson Christopher D'Abbracci. She is survived by her sons, with their families, Armand E. and Anne D'Abbracci of Binghamton with son A.J.; Joseph F. and Tami D'Abbracci of Apalachin NY with sons, Nicholas, Anthony and Daniel; sister Carmella Nisco of Wayland; brothers and sisters-in-law, Frank Nisco of New Jersey, Emiliano and Eleanor Nisco of Fairport NY, Joseph Nisco of Horseheads, Jeannine Nisco of Elmira; along with numerous nieces, nephews and cousins. Rose was a life long communicant of St. Anthony's Church. Friends are invited to McInerny Funeral Home, corner of W. Water and Walnut Sts., on Sunday, December 5, 2010 from 1:00 p.m. to 3:00 p.m. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Monday, December 6, 2010 at 9:30 a.m. at St. Casimir's Church. Interment will follow at St. Peter & Paul's Cemetery. Rose's family would like to thank the staff at Willow Point Nursing Home for their compassionate care.
