Obituary of Teresa Marie Farr

Teresa Marie Farr Elmira: Age 75, died Sunday, January 23, 2011 at Arnot Ogden Medical Center….. "Our sweet angel is now an angel for the Lord". Teresa was born March 2, 1935 a daughter of the late Peter A. and Mary (DiLauro) Carozza. She is also predeceased by her son Daryl R. Farr, and brothers, Peter A. and Michael J. Carozza, and Joseph Carozza, who was killed in Italy during WWII. Teresa is survived by her husband of 53 years George R. Farr; daughter Diane Christine Farr of Elmira; sister and brother-in-law Grace and Peter Parlo of Jamestown, NY; sister-in-law Sue Carozza of Elmira; brother-in-law Richard W. Farr of Horseheads; along with several nieces and nephews. Born and raised in Elmira Teresa was a graduate of Elmira Catholic High where she was a cheerleader and participated in the school musicals. She worked at Rosenbaum's where she did some modeling for fashion shows they sponsored. Teresa was a long time communicant of Our Lady of Lourdes Church, where she taught C.C.D. classes for a number of years. She was also a member of the Fraternity of St. Dominic. Friends are invited to a Mass of Christian Burial on Wednesday, January 26, 2011 at 10:00 a.m. at Our Lady of Lourdes Church. Interment will follow at St. Peter & Paul's Cemetery.
