Obituary of Timothy R. Webster

"Webby", "Timmy", "Papa" Age 60, of Big Flats, was tragically taken from his loving family and friends on Friday, November 3, 2017. Tim was born in Corning, the son of late Richard L. and Myrtle (Gorman) Webster. He is also predeceased by his brother Richard L. Webster II and sisters, LouAnn Webster and Connie Hazen. He leaves behind those who loved him and will miss him dearly, his wife Wendy McInerny Webster; daughters, Jennifer Webster and Jacqueline "Jackie" (Sha) Swan; Wendy's children, Colleen (Dan) Riordon, Jason (Rebecca "Cookie") Hillman, Christopher (Laura) Hillman, Samantha Hillman, Kevin (Amanda) Hillman, Katherine "Katie" Brenzo, Barbara Jo (Matt) Calveric, Stephanie (fiancé Thomas Becraft) Brenzo; siblings, Kathy (Bob Ribble) Wilson, Bob (Susan) Webster, Thomas (Mary Jo) Webster, Renee Kolcum; mother-in-law Barbara McInerny; 21 grandchildren, many nieces, nephews, cousins, and in-laws. Tim grew up in Big Flats and was a 1975 graduate of Horseheads High School. He was a postman in the Elmira area, always taking the time to have a conversation along his route. Tim was an avid Yankees & Steelers fan, loved hunting, enjoyed beach vacations with family and friends, as well as hosting a good bon fire. Tim loved his grandkids; taking them camping, going to their sporting events and playing football or "fumblerooski". Tim was an all-around good guy and was loved by everyone who knew him. He will be forever missed. Family and friends are invited to McInerny Funeral Home, 502 W. Water Street, Elmira, on Saturday, November 11, 2017 from 4:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. A funeral service will follow at 7:15 p.m.
