Age 101, passed away peacefully at the Arnot Ogden Medical Center on Sunday, October 23, 2022. Betty was the sixth, and last surviving of eleven children, born to Chucksey Charles and Anna Waddell Cowan. She was predeceased her husband Anthony R. Fadale; siblings, Agnes Brown, Emery Cowan, Carlyle Cowan, Linta Emigh, Mary Margaret Spotts, Grace Oaks, Charles Cowan, James Cowan, Eli Cowan, and Ruth Pellor. Betty is survived by daughter and son-in-law, Connie and Randy Robinson of Hammondsport NY; sons and daughters-in-law, Carl and Mary Ann Fadale of Homer NY, Louis and Lesia Fadale of Elmira Heights; grandson Gabriel Fadale of Homer NY. Also surviving are numerous nieces, nephews, grandnieces and grandnephews. Betty had a long career as a baker working for 60 plus years at the Elmira Country Club. She enjoyed playing bingo, betting on horse races, trips to the casinos and scratch offs. Betty's children would like to offer a special thanks to grand-niece Kim Hatala for the wonderful companionship she provided to Betty over the last several years, and to Anna Chopko and Joe Conklin for all the homemade pierogies! Private family services were held.
