Elmira NY Age 79, passed away peacefully, at his home, with his family by his bedside on Saturday, March 26, 2022. Tom was born in Elmira, son of the late Raymond A. and Eleanor (Greenwood) Terkoski. He was predeceased by his brother and sister-in-law, Raymond A. Jr. and Roseann Terkoski; and sister Joan Terkoski. Tom is survived by his wife of 57 years Marilyn Dean Terkoski; sons, P.J. Terkoski and husband Francis Briseno of Long Beach NY … Jason Terkoski of Elmira; daughter Christin Terkoski with Joel Cortez of Elmira with her children, Selene, Jadyn and Tyrese Terkoski; brothers-in-law and sisters-in-law, Thomas and Margaret Dean of Buffalo, Karen Marks Dean of West Virginia, Karen and Mark Sweeney of Corning NY, Kathleen and Richard Murdock of Palm Harbor FL, Kim and Curt Ripley of Elmira; numerous nieces and nephews. Tom was a life-long resident of Elmira. He worked in sales for many years at Rem-Southern Office Products. In his early retirement, he took great pride volunteering for The Ride Program, providing car service for seniors without transportation. His hobby of creating stained-glass lampshades, windows, and sun-catchers as gifts for others will live on in many homes. Tom and his wife Marilyn showed warm hospitality to many in their home over the years. He loved listening to music. Tom loved to laugh, and always tried to make others laugh too. Tom liked treating his family to dinner, and he treasured family vacations on Keuka Lake. Tom made sure his kids had not only what they needed, but what they wanted as well. Water St., Elmira, on Saturday, April 2, 2022 from 11:30 a.m. to 1:15 p.m. A funeral service will follow at 1:30 p.m. Tom will be buried at Woodlawn Cemetery at a later date.
