Aileen was born April 24, 1928, in Elmira, the daughter of the late Francis and Rose (Lynch) Rohde. She was predeceased by her husband Cal in 1981. Aileen is survived by her loving children, Theresa (Phil) Clark of Cary NC, Frank (Margaret "Sis") Tremblay of Pine City, Rita (Gary) Richer of Pine City, Maryrose (Mike) Monroe of Pine City, Mark (Beth) Tremblay of Dundee, Elizabeth (Bill Painter) Tremblay of Elmira, and Lori (Ken) Rupp of Elmira. Fourteen grandchildren, and their spouses, and twenty-two great-grandchildren, all who called her "JaJa", will miss loving her and being loved by her. Aileen raised seven children and returned to work at the New York Telephone Company until her retirement. She surprised her family when she started painting in her 50's. Her children and grandchildren are lucky to each have some of her artwork in their homes. After her family, she loved her rosary and Catholic faith. In times of trouble she would remind her family "We make our plans and God laughs." Not to be forgotten are lambs, Aileen loved her lambs.
