Age 86, of Elmira, passed away on January 30, 2018. Antoinette was a daughter of the late Lorenzo and Mary (Mazzaraco) Liotino. Ann was predeceased by her husband Nicholas Cantando. Also predeceased by siblings and in-laws: Vito and Sylvia Liotino, Lucy and John Galvin, Mary Lu Liotino, Dominic and Philomena Cantando, John and Flora Cantando, Anthony and Lorraine Cantando, William Cantando, Rosemary Hamilton, and Philomena and Robert Woods. She is survived by her brother Peter Liotino, sister-in-law Elizabeth Cantando, brother-in-law Donald "Bucky" Hamilton; along with numerous nieces, nephews, and cousins. Ann worked as a bookkeeper for several Elmira businesses. She also assisted her husband in running The Plaza Bar and Grill on Elmira's Southside, which they owned for nearly forty five years. Ann was a member of Ladies of the Sacred Heart and enjoyed volunteering for the League of Women Voters. Family and friends are invited to McInerny Funeral Home, 502 W. Water Street, Elmira, on Wednesday, February 7, 2018 from 9:30 a.m. to 10:30 a.m. A Mass of Christian Burial will follow at 11:00 a.m., St. Patrick's Church, 604 Park Place, Elmira. Interment, with committal prayers, will then take place at St. Peter and Paul's Cemetery. In memory of Ann donations may be directed to Strong Memorial Hospital, Neuromuscular Clinic, 601 Elmwood Avenue, Rochester NY 14642.
